About Dr. Leah

Leah Dedrick is a Maryland native and attended Salisbury University, graduating with a bachelors degree in Biology and Exercise Science in 2012. Leah graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Maryland in 2016. Throughout her education Leah completed several fitness certifications to include personal training, group fitness and her strength and conditioning certification. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy with extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics and wellness, Leah specializes in helping clients overcome chronic hip and low back pain, rebuild functional strength, and return to the activities that matter most.

With a dual focus on evidence-based rehabilitation and proactive, long-term wellness, Leah blends individualized physical therapy, strength training, and movement education to create programs that truly support aging with strength—not limitation. Her approach is highly personalized, hands-on, and rooted in empowering clients to understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery.

Beyond clinical care, Leah is committed to community education, injury prevention, and making high-quality, supportive wellness services accessible to adults and older adults on Kent Island and beyond. Whether working one-on-one, providing small-group training, or guiding clients through lifelong movement habits, she brings encouragement, clarity, and a genuine passion for helping people feel strong and capable.

When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Leah with her family. Her 1 yo daughter Elaina, husband John and dogs Allie and Winston. She loves enjoying the outdoors, moving her own body, and continuing to learn new ways to help her clients age stronger.
